What are the system requirements to use ECLIPSEtoOutlook?
Of course, you must have a working version of ECLIPSE ®.
E2O requires Microsoft Windows XP, Vista or 7. E2O will home edition operating systems, but it cannot be supported, since Eclipse does not support home edition operating systems.
You must be using Microsoft Outlook XP (2002), 2003, or 2007. Earlier editions are not supported.
Please note: E2O does not work on 64 bit operations.
How does this work?
It’s simple. After a quick installation, press the “Sync Now” button. All of your ECLIPSE appointments from 30 days past and forward will seamlessly appear in your Microsoft Outlook calendar. The appointment details include the name of the patient, time and duration of appointment.
If I change my appointment in Eclipse, will it update Outlook?
As long as the appointment is still on the same day as originally scheduled, the appointment will automatically update in Outlook. If this appointment is rescheduled for a different day, E2O will create a duplicate appointment in Outlook.
What if I cancel or delete an appointment in ECLIPSE?
Appointments marked as canceled or rescheduled are removed from Outlook. Manually deleting appointments remain in Outlook. According to ECLIPSE, it is best practice to mark appointments as canceled or rescheduled.
We’re a multi-doctor facility, can we synchronize a specific doctor’s appointments?
Yes, as a matter of fact E2O asks you to choose which doctor you are synchronizing your appointments for, and remembers your settings next time you sync. You can also synchronize all appointments.
